The Perfect Cradle

CA$385.00

Ever watch a bird construct a nest? Collecting from it’s environment they meticulously assemble these cradles of safety. They work quickly and with a sense of ferverish purpose.

In this painting I contrast the browns of the bird’s nest agasint a background of pure turquoise. Turquoise to me is a colour that reminds me of Spring and references to the robin’s blue eggs.

8 x 8 in (9.5 x 9.5 in framed)

Encaustic

Framed in solid walnut.

Available for pick up at Melt Gallery in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

Shipping is extra.
