Spectacular Ending
The title says it all. In Spectacular, I try and capture the breathtaking beauty of sunsets that stretch across Lake Ontario, just moments from my home studio. Vibrant colours sprawl across the sky, evoking the magic of those fleeting moments. Using the encaustic medium, I layer the coloured wax, then gently scrapes away to reveal hidden hues beneath. This technique creates a luminous depth, echoing the brilliance of nature's evening display.
