Softly Reflecting
The palette of this piece evolved in this painting quite differently than I had originally intended. But that is the wonderful thing about the creative process. In order for it to really work in my opinion, you just have to let things happen. Don't allow yourself to be restricted by any preconceived ideas. In the end, I love the layering of coloured wax in this piece - especially in the soft reflections on the water's surface. It exudes a sense of peace and tranquility, a welcome addition to any home.
