All That Glitters

CA$875.00

The saying "All that glitters is not gold" reminds us that appearances can be deceiving. What seems perfect on the surface often hides deeper truths beneath. This is reflected in my painting, where golden highlights shimmer across Ontario’s lakes, symbolizing the beauty that attracts visitors—whether it’s the peaceful waters at dawn or golden sunsets. Ontario’s lakes, with their stunning landscapes, draw thousands each year.

This painting is not just a portrayal of Ontario's lakes but a call to action. These lakes are precious but vulnerable. They need ongoing protection to ensure their survival for future generations. As we admire the golden waters, let’s remember that beneath the surface lies both beauty and responsibility. Like gold, which loses its shine if neglected, our lakes need care to preserve their true value for years to come.
