Swan Lake I
A lone swan. I used swirling brushstrokes in order to show how the water ripples around the swan as he glides delicately across its surface. This piece from my “Shorelines” collection contemplates the shoreline and the deep meditative quality it possesses. Walks along the shores of the lakes in Prince Edward County provide moments of deep peace and clarity for me and inspired this series of serene paintings.
