Patchwork of Time

CA$3,800.00

This painting is of an old barn near my home in Prince Edward County, Ontario. I pass it often, and each time I marvel at how the owner has held it together by piecing on sheets of metal, creating a façade that resembles a patchwork quilt. What could have been purely functional has become, instead, an unintentional work of art — a testament to resilience, resourcefulness, and quiet beauty in the everyday life on the farm.

Encaustic

65 × 30 inches

66.5 × 31.5 inches framed in solid walnut

Available at Melt Studio & Gallery

Shipping is extra. Free shipping in the County and surrounding area.
