Hope Nests
In March of 2020 during the first isolation, I began working on a new series I called "Hope Nests". This series draws from my Polish heritage with the addition of the traditional painted eggs ( Pisanki). This tradition has roots that go back to the 7th century. Easter aligns itself with Spring. A time for new beginnings, growth and most of all hope. Something we all could use during these changing times.
